Storage and privacy
Three keys in this browser’s local storage, and nothing anywhere else. There is no server to write to.
What is written
osl-repos-v2osl-readme-v2osl-ping-v1osl-themeNothing else is written. There is no cookie on this site and no identifier, because there is no server that could keep either.
If your browser blocks local storage, every page still works
It is slower, because the repository list is refetched on each visit, and the site history column is empty. Nothing breaks and nothing is lost except the cache you were not keeping anyway.
What is not collected
- No analytics of any kind on any page.
- No server-side record of who visited, because there is no server-side anything to record it in.
- No cookies. The only cookie anywhere on either site is the unlock cookie on a password-protected short link, and that belongs to shortn.
Who can see what
Requests for repositories go to GitHub, and requests for site checks go to the sites themselves. Those two see your address as any website does — that is the ordinary condition of using the web, and it is the only place your address goes.
Neither of those requests carries anything identifying you. There is no query parameter, no header and no cookie from this site attached to them.
